As part of your Australian Dental Association (ADA) membership, you have access to the ADA’s comprehensive HR Advisory Service — designed to support you as you transition from study to professional practice with confidence.

Through the ADA’s partnership with Citation HR, you can access:

• Specialist HR and employment relations advice: speak directly with experienced consultants who understand the dental profession and can provide practical advice on employment rights, workplace expectations, and transitioning into your first role.
• Tailored support for your individual needs: receive guidance on understanding employment contracts, navigating workplace obligations, and addressing any early employment concerns.
• Complimentary final-year contract review: all final-year dental students receive a free 30-minute consultation to review and discuss the terms of their first employment contract, helping you make informed decisions as you begin your career.
• Support when you need it: contact the service between 8:00am – 9:00pm (AEST) Monday to Friday (excluding national public holidays) to seek advice as you prepare for the workforce.
• Access to HR and workplace safety resources: utilise a range of HR and WHS templates, policies, and checklists via the ADA HR Hub to strengthen your knowledge and professional readiness.
• Peer support: connect with other students and new graduates through Peer, the ADA’s online platform for sharing experiences and advice.
