Step 1: Understanding the Standard

To help with your certification journey we offer complimentary education and training which can be accessed by your entire organisation – it’s the best way to gain confidence and knowledge. Our online training will introduce you and your team to the key principles of GWO standard and its requirements.

Step 2: Implementation

The first step in implementing or transitioning an management system in your organisation is comparing your current management systems with the requirements.

Think about simplified terminology relating to the clauses, comparing your systems and requirements, and an overview of what’s in the corresponding standard

Step 3: Stage 1 & 2 Assessments

The certification audit consists of two stages; stage one involves evaluating the documentation of your management system, while stage two checks if the standard requirements have been implemented.

Step 4: Certification and surveillance

After successfully achieving certification, you will receive a ‘Statement of Certification’ confirming compliance with the relevant standard. This remains valid for two years, with regular annual surveillance audits to maintain compliance.
