We’re thrilled to announce that Adrian Turner, Group General Counsel and Chief Customer Officer at Citation Group, has been named Professional Services Lawyer of the Year at the LawyersWeekly Corporate Counsel Awards 2025.

The Corporate Counsel Awards were held on Thursday, 8 May at The Star in Sydney, celebrating the outstanding achievements of Australia’s in-house counsel over the past year.

A total of 34 winners were selected from 194 finalists across more than 30 submission-based categories.

Adrian was one of 34 exceptional winners recognised on the night, following his shortlisting as one of four finalists in his category. His achievement highlights his exceptional contribution to the profession, recognising his leadership as both Group General Counsel and Chief Customer Officer while spearheading one of the Group’s newest brands, Citation Safety.

Adrian expressed his gratitude, saying he is deeply humbled by the recognition and honoured to be named among Australia’s top in-house legal professionals. While his nominator chose to remain anonymous, they praised Adrian’s remarkable ability to balance multiple high-level responsibilities while driving innovation and growth within the business.
