Lisa Qiu

Special Counsel and Solicitor

Lisa Qiu is a Special Counsel with Citation Legal. She is based in our Sydney office but represents clients across Australia. She has extensive experience in Employment Law and Business Migration. This dual qualification allows for a unique perspective on client matters and enables her to provide clients with niche advice addressing both employment and migration concerns. She has experience in the jurisdictions of the Fair Work Commission, Federal Circuit Court and Family Court of Australia, Fair Work Ombudsman and Australian Human Rights Commission.

In addition to her legal practice, she is committed to making law accessible to all. This is evident in her volunteering and mentoring experience. Lisa has previously sat on the board of a disability support services organisation as a non executive director, and has volunteered her time as a Senior Manager with Diverse Women in Law, a group that strives to empower and support women of diverse backgrounds throughout their law careers. She also enjoys being a mentor for junior lawyers at Citation Legal and has also taught Anti-Discrimination Law at Western Sydney University.
