Across the country, we have welcomed new talent and celebrated promotions that reflect both the strength of our existing team and our ambition for what comes next. A new Partner, a Special Counsel, and an Associate joining, alongside a well-earned internal promotion – each one chosen not just for their technical excellence, but for the values they bring to the work.

Meet our newest and newly promoted team members

Corrina Dowling — Partner and Head of Melbourne Office

Corrina joined Citation Legal in February this year as a Partner and Head of our Melbourne office, bringing almost 20 years of experience in workplace law and industrial relations. Having worked for a national employer union, in-house and in private practice across industries including education, health, aged care, retail, mining and manufacturing, she brings a perspective few can match. Corrina provides strategic, commercially focused advice across the full range of employment matters and has appeared in the Federal Court, Fair Work Commission, the Australian Human Rights Commission, VCAT and other tribunals. Her approach is measured, pragmatic and responsive – always grounded in a genuine understanding of her clients’ operational realities and commercial objectives.

Zoe McQuillan — Special Counsel

Zoe joined Citation Legal in June as Special Counsel in Sydney, bringing over 20 years of expertise in employment and industrial relations law – first as a workplace relations advisor and then as a lawyer. She is known for her ability to simplify complex legal matters and deliver practical, workable solutions across the full spectrum of employment law, regularly appearing in tribunals and courts at all levels. Outside of her practice, Zoe volunteers with the Industrial Relations Society of NSW where she serves as one of its Vice Presidents.

Yasin Kassem — Associate

Yasin joined Citation Legal in April as an Associate in Melbourne, advising clients across a range of industries on employment law and industrial relations matters. Recognised for his strong litigation capability and commercially focused approach, he has particular expertise in dispute resolution and advocacy before the Fair Work Commission and other tribunals. Yasin brings additional depth from a background in human resources, enabling him to deliver advice that is both legally sound and operationally practical. He has particular experience in the community services sector and has advised mining organisations in Western Australia.

Clinton Tomeldan — Promoted to Associate

Clinton first joined Citation Group in October 2018 as a Workplace Relations Consultant at FCB Group. Over the years that followed, he built deep expertise in workplace relations across some of Australia’s most respected organisations – including the Victorian Hospitals’ Industrial Association and Australian Unity – before returning to Citation Group in June 2024. All the while, he was completing his legal qualifications, admitted as a Solicitor in July 2025. He began his transition from Citation HR to Citation Legal on 1 July 2025 as a solicitor and has been promoted to Associate, effective 1 July 2026.  His promotion to Associate is the natural next chapter in a journey shaped by years within this organisation. He understands our clients, our culture, and our standards – because he has lived them. We’re proud to see him reach this milestone and excited about what lies ahead.
