Special Counsel

Alexandra is an experienced professional and Special Counsel at Citation Legal. Although based in our Sydney office, Alex works with clients across Australia, including in Victoria, Queensland and South Australia. During her time at Citation Legal, Alex has provided pragmatic, easily understandable, and commercially centred advice to her clients. She has a strong focus on understanding clients’ business objectives and is a recognised and highly valued adviser.

Her areas of expertise include:

Remuneration and compliance audits.
Post termination claims including unfair dismissal and general protections applications.
Enterprise Agreements and bargaining.
Sexual harassment and discrimination claims.
Drafting employment contracts.
Workplace investigations.
Managing terminations and redundancies.
Facilitating employment relations training.

Alex has experience in a variety of jurisdictions within the workplace relations and employment law area, and works with clients across a wide range of industries and business structures, with particular experience within the retail, manufacturing, hospitality, health, and recruitment and on-hire industries. She has significant experience in advisory matters and values a strong focus on practical commercial outcomes.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Laws (University of Wollongong).
Bachelor of Communication and Media Studies (Journalism) (University of Wollongong).
Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
